Spas and spa treatments in Dubai - what you want to know!
A grand success at The Grand spa - Grand Hyatt
So now I'm kind of worried - will the coupons cause problems? Will we be treated like cheapskates?
Not at the Grand Spa - we were treated like queens! My friend D and I celebrated her birthday with a spa day - massages and facials at the Grand. Now D has arthritis and can't handle certain spa treatments. When the spa manager - Emma Franklin - discovered D's problem, she offered not only a wonderful alternative - a chocolate body wrap - but helped D celebrate with flowers and a glass of bubbly. THEN she generously offered us our treatments at no cost. Emma - I hope you're reading this - showed great professionalism. So I still have the coupons for the Grand Spa and we will most definitely be returning to use them.
The Grand Spa was built in the days before huge and sprawling hotel spas. For that reason, it is a little noisy but it has all the fine touches to make guest feel pampered. Most importantly for me, the Grand affirmed for me that Dubai Spa Challenge is going to be really interesting!!!
